  1895 Marlin Cowboy 45/70

  Oasis't bought a Marlin in a while with all the bad printing about Remlins. Well this Marlin is flawless. Woods to metal is perfect. Action is shine every bit silk. Amend than my 80s Marlin 1895. I didn't give information technology a five considering the bluing is not that old schoolhouse Colt bluish. And for the price y'all can't beat information technology.   Excellent gun chambered for the 45-70

  I have owned this gun for iii years and take shot well over 1,200+ rounds out of it. And so far no problems at all.Not even a jam.Still I ordinarily shoot it unmarried shot since some of my handloads are seated too far out to properly function through the mag tube.For its price it is a steal. I put a limbsaver recoil pad on information technology and the recoil is reasonable even with 400 grains doing 1900+ fps.Information technology is an accurate gun.I tin shoot 5 shoot groups at or around three inches at 100 yards open sights.I accept heard of people shooting 3 shot ane.5 inch groups @ 100 yards with a scoped version. Which makes information technology suitable to have Whatever game in the world with the right bullet.Bullet trajectory past 150 yards is the only negative downside for this gun.

  I purchased this rifle a few years back because it seemed like it would be a fun gun to shoot and I eventually would similar to take it on a buffalo hunt. The gun itself looks nifty... the finish and the stock are very dainty. The gun shoots great out of the box. I have no problem accurately hitting targets from 75-100 yards out. Their is a footling bit of kick, but not too bad. I had a pocket-size issue with the spring feed on the storage tube, but I chosen Marlin and had my gun sent in, repaired and returned inside a calendar week. All in all, this is a great gun and is manufactured and supported past a smashing company.
